Who this category is for
One eligible passenger with light belongings, where the rider can safely use the required protective equipment and seating.
Helmet first
Do not start until the approved, correctly fitting passenger helmet is provided and securely fastened. Report missing or unsuitable equipment.
Not for every journey.
Do not use the category for multiple passengers, large luggage, a child where prohibited, unsafe weather, unsuitable clothing/equipment or a medical/mobility need the category cannot safely support.
Match and ride
Check the driver, motorcycle and registration details. Sit as instructed, keep feet on the footrests and avoid distracting the driver.
Weather and road state
Drivver or the driver may pause or decline a bike journey where conditions make safe operation impractical.
